Burberry global sales rebound as the young customers follow social media influencers
The luxury fashion retailer Burberry has reported a rebound in sales to pre-pandemic levels driven by a boom in younger shoppers, with products including leather goods, jackets and shoes proving particularly popular.
This has also been supported by partnerships with influencers Kendall Jenner and FKA Twigs.
Sales levels grew 146% year on year in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA), 27% in Asia Pacific and 341% in the Americas. #growexport
The brand chose Kendall Jenner to front one of its campaigns last summer and promote its new Olympia bags.
Performers FKA Twigs and Shygirl were part of the latest campaign.
